During the Succession fourth and final season’s New York premiere on March 20, the actor acknowledged that he and actress Tuva Novotny had secretly welcomed their first child. He thanked the reporter who had congratulated him on the new member of his family.
Alexander received a plush animal for his child from a fan after arriving at Jazz at Lincoln Center with the rest of the ensemble, and he then proudly displayed it in front of the cameras.
“I got this on the red carpet,” the 46-year-old told Entertainment Tonight, sharing a glimpse of the plushie. “Thank you, thank you.”Although he and Tuva, 43, were spotted out with a newborn during a Big Apple dinner date in November, Alexander did not disclose the exact date of the birth of his child.
The Big Little Lies actor has largely remained silent about his personal life.
While his father Stellan Skarsgrd is the father of eight children, including It star Bill Skarsgrd and Westworld actor Gustaf Skarsgrd, he did express his desire to be a family man back in 2017.
